On October 13th, a few members of the committee embarked on a much anticipated visit to the Kandy Branch of the OGA. This visit had been a long-standing aspiration of the OGA. Thankfully, by the grace of God, we finally turned this dream into a reality and reconnected with our sisters in the hills, forming lasting bonds of friendship and community.
Our heartfelt thanks to Ummu Hassen the President of our Kandy Branch for organizing this special event and our gratitude to Danushka Madugalle for generously opening her home to us, as well as to the entire Kandy branch for their warm and loving hospitality as they would say in true Kandyan style!
