IFESTIA!, this year’s OGA dance was a resounding success. Four hundred and forty tickets were sold out prior to the event, and on 16th September 2017, guests were whisked away to Santorini for the night with the OGA’s own recreation of Ifestia, an annual festival that takes place on the Greek island of Santorini in September. The venue was transformed with soaring Grecian pillars, pots of vibrant bougainvillea and a stunning backdrop; two bands provided a non-stop soundtrack for the Grecian themed revelry; a delectable Mediterranean buffet tempted guests; fabulous prizes were distributed throughout the night and the party carried on until the wee small hours of the morning. We raised a record-breaking Rs.16,500,000 profit from the dance which was the main fundraising event for the OGA’s drive to collect funds for the Smart Classroom Project.
